Sunday greeters, ushers, and café
The Host Team is a great way to make Port City Community Church feel more like home while serving as a part of the church. Our Greeters get the privilege of holding doors and guesting our first time attenders through our environments. The Ushers are responsible for helping people find available seats in the auditorium and collecting offering. The Café Team greets guests, serves coffee, and maintains the café area.
What are the perks? You get to wear t-shirt of your choice and free coffee on Sundays!
children ministries host teams
You’ll be the first impression for our Children’s Ministry families. We ask that you greet them with a smile, help them get checked in using our computer system, and help them with any questions they have. You become the face of Treasure Island (Elementary School) and Grow Zone (Birth through Pre-K)!
This is the perfect way to get to know A LOT of families who come to our church, you pass out stickers (who doesn’t love a sticker?!), and you can still attend church service the same hour you serve.
student ministries host team/café
Student Ministries exists to reach Middle School (Tsunami) & High School (Ripple Effect) Students, and to help them walk with God by creating safe and engaging environments to explore their faith while connecting with caring adults. The Host Team welcomes the students into this fun environment and helps staff the cafe. Our Student Ministries meets Sunday Evenings.
This time around you actually get a chance to be cool in school…plus we have pretty sweet volunteer t-shirts and events! (We think helping students walk with God is a nice perk as well!)
what's next team
The volunteers at the What’s Next Area get to help people connect to others and/or programs offered through PC3. Sunday mornings are dynamic and this team stays steady through it all to listen to the needs of people and help them discover their best next step.
You get to show people that they are valued and that there’s always a place for them. This is a flexible, relational service role.
Stop by What's Next on Sundays to begin a conversation about volunteering or complete the Find Your Next form.
