Volunteering in Treasure Island

We are a ministry that is completely run by our volunteers. Nothing would get done without them, and we are so grateful for each and every member filling each and every role. If you'd like to become part of the Treasure Island volunteer team, you can find out about the different roles below. Then just CLICK HERE to fill out an interest form.

This position is perfect for someone who is interested in serving every week, as consistency plays a key role in developing relationships with the kids. We provide you with a lesson plan each week, and then you get to implement all the fun games and activities to really help drive home the day's Bible story.

(And if you can't commit to every week, but you still love serving in a classroom group setting, you can always be on our Sub List! When a small group leader is out, we will contact you and see if you can jump in that week!)

It is SO fun to stand up on a stage in front of kids and host a silly game, set up our Bible story, and help them review what they just learned. We would provide you a short script to work off, and you just get to be your fun, crazy self up on stage in front of the kids.
It is even MORE fun to lead them in worship and dance along to some simple motions. You don't have to have a great voice, and you don't have to be a Zumba-instructor-level dancer! You just have to be enthusiastic and fun!

If either of these sound like a great fit for you, we'd love to have you join us!

If pushing buttons, playing with lights, and making sure microphones are loud enough sounds like fun to you, then the Production Team is where you need to be! We have a very simple setup of equipment, and ANYONE can learn it really quickly. So if you'd like to try it out, let us know and we can show you around!

You're the first impression, the smiling face, and the welcoming interaction that makes our families feel right at home. We use a simple check-in system on our computers that helps you get each child checked into their appropriate group. If you're good with names and have a welcoming personality, you are an ideal candidate!

As a mobile campus, we have lots of equipment that needs to be set up and taken down each week. Believe it or not, many of our "Crew" as we call them, say that set up and/or tear down is their favorite part of the day, where you really get to know people quickly and feel like you are truly workign together as a team. No experience or expertise necessary!
